Hi and welcome to my website. I am Victoria Rose Martin aka Vixterina and yes, it’s okay if you call my artwork dolls. In fact I encourage you to visit my Etsy Shop. My sculptures are doll like and I am quite happy embracing all things feminine. The sculpture is primarily kiln fired clay. A thumb injury has me hopping between clay and fabric. If you see cloth dolls, the thumb is acting up. The universe is telling me to diversify.
I live in Florida where I work as an artist and professor of art and graphic design. If I am not on campus there is a 99% chance that I am in my art studio (or traveling). Both are passions that feed my soul. It’s very important to do the things in life that you love.
I’ve always had this push and pull between sculpting and illustration/design. Which is probably why I wind up drawing all over my dollies. Enjoy your visit and be sure to have a visit to my Instagram.
